How to use the scientific calculator
This scientific calculator is built for fast school and everyday math. It supports keyboard input, a clickable keypad, DEG/RAD mode, Ans recall, and recent calculation history.
- Enter the expression with the keypad or keyboard.
- Use DEG mode for degree-based trigonometry, or RAD mode for radians.
- Press Enter or = to evaluate the expression.
- Reuse earlier results from the history panel.
Formula or method
Expressions are evaluated using standard order of operations: parentheses, powers, multiplication/division, then addition/subtraction.
Worked examples
Order of operations
Problem: 1 + 2 * 3
Solution: Multiplication runs before addition, so the result is 7.
Trigonometry
Problem: sin(30) in DEG mode
Solution: 30 degrees is a standard angle, so sin(30) = 0.5.
Common mistakes
- Forgetting to close parentheses before pressing equals.
- Using degree values while the calculator is in RAD mode.
